Year-Round Activities

Year-Round activities at Bishop Educational Gardens
Bishop Educational Gardens is a 36-acre parcel of land with 3 acres of maintained gardens. The property was donated to the Hocking Soil & Water Conservation District on December 12, 2008. As retired art teachers, Roberta Bishop and her late husband, Bruce, dreamed that one day their property would be used for art and environmental education. The site is famously known for hosting Lilyfest, an art and garden show founded by Bruce and Bobbi that highlights and supports local artists.
Lilyfest, via the Bishop Educational Gardens, Inc., a 501C3 organization, supports the mission and goals of the Hocking Soil & Water Conservation District and its many environmental education programs.
